Overview:

The UTD-C series electric float level transmitter is an inherently safe explosion-proof instrument for continuous measurement of liquid level. It is used in hazardous areas with flammable and explosive gases and is suitable for measuring and controlling the liquid level in tanks during production processes in industrial enterprises such as petroleum and chemical industries. The instrument output is a 4-20mA standard DC signal, which can be transmitted over long distances and used in conjunction with instruments such as DDZ-III to achieve automatic control of liquid level. And it can achieve two types of liquid interface control.
This instrument has the characteristics of reliable transmission, flexible installation, and wide measurement range. Especially, users can calibrate using the on-site calibration method without the need for liquid level changes, greatly facilitating use and maintenance.

working principle

The change in buoyancy caused by the change in liquid level results in an increase or decrease in the load on the torque tube, which is directly proportional to the change in liquid level and the specific gravity of the liquid level. The torque tube rotates under the action of the float, driving the rotor of the differential transformer to produce synchronous angular displacement, and generating a voltage variable proportional to the rotor displacement. This voltage variable is converted and amplified into a 4-20mA standard current signal output.
